These include cases like if death is caused due to surgery, or if the policy holder has a mental or physical illness, bacterial infection, hernia, etc. then the policy holder will not be covered under the accidental death life insurance policy. Even a drug overdose resulting in death is not covered by this insurance policy. Hence it is always advised that different life insurance quotes should be availed and compared so that the policy holders are able to understand the coverage of these policies and also to be aware of the terms and conditions of the policy.
